A jolly and unassuming Hobbit, Folco Boffin was a good friend of Frodo Baggins before he departed on his journey to Rivendell. Folco, along with Merry, Pippin, Sam and Fredegar, helped Frodo to leave Bag End for his residence in Crickhollow.
