Khemrian Warsphinxes are giant leonine statues created to roam the chambers of royal pyramids, guarding the inner sanctums of great Tomb Kings. In battle, they wade through the ranks of their foes, blows glancing off their stone hides as they crush the living underfoot like bothersome insects. Tomb Guard elites stand atop the Warsphinx’s back in an ornate howdah, laying into the enemies below with great, double-handed spears and safeguarding the royalty who sometimes elect to ride alongside them.
