The Captains of the Lake-town™ Guard have seen more fighting than most within Esgaroth™ – though they may still lack the steely determination of a true professional soldier. Nonetheless, they serve the town well, for it is their home – and their paymaster.
Members of the Lake-town Guard who survived Smaug’s wrath aided Bard in seeing the refugees to relative safety, and the Survivors of Lake-town looked to the toughest and hardiest of this militia to lead them during the defence of Dale™, fighting fiercely to secure the city – and a new home for the people of Esgaroth.
