Mortifiers

For a Sister Repentia to flee battle is among the greatest sins known to the Adepta Sororitas. The sole duty of these Sisters is to atone for their failings in battle – to run from redemption is to reject the Emperor’s embrace, an evil for which there can be no forgiveness. Such wayward Repentia are bolted within the armoured shell of a Mortifier, unable to move, speak or hear. Suffering endless shame and agony, they are driven by madness and pain to carve a path of mutilation and destruction
